Grown from rare, mid-century heirloom seeds dating back to the original Japanese imports of the 1940s. Slow-grown and a labor of love these Japanese natives grow significantly slower than most oysters (approximately 3-5 years!), but some things in life are worth the wait, and Kumos are one of them!

We have been using Taylors for years and always impressed with the quality of the oysters and geoduck.......only improvement would be for the order packers to check for "mudders" before they get boxed up. Call if they miss one or two and Taylors will refund.
Both my Brother and I have been eating Taylor Shellfish products for over 10 years. I live in Louisiana now but the oysters here don't compare with Taylor Shellfish oysters.
Excellent service and these are our favorite.
