I didn't personally enjoy the oysters but I did buy them for very dear friends of mine who love them. I got them for their Anniversary and they totally loved them! They said they would buy them themselves in the future. If that isn't a good testimony nothing is!
Consistently my favorite oyster with the Shigoku. Might me small, but packs big flavor.
Shells were thin. Too easy to shuck and the meat inside was limp, meaning they had probably been harvested many days before shipping. One of the 30 oysters was dry upon shucking. Taste overall was average. Very disappointed given the high cost and $40 express shipping. Not up to par with past experiences with Taylor and Hama Hama. Has this been a bad season for oysters?
