shigoku oysters
All I can say is " I thought I died and went to heaven" !!! There was not one bad oyster in the lot and they were so clean tasting and so sweet with a hint of the sea. I am impressed !!! Thank you.
Shigoku oysters are innovative Pacific oysters grown in float bags that rise and fall with the tides, gently tumbling the oysters. This process mimics a good workout for oysters, strengthening their adductor muscles and resulting in firm, plump meat and a deep, clean cup.
Shigoku means "ultimate” in Japanese, and we think these unique oysters fit the bill.
Quantity: 30 count
Flavor Profile: Strong brininess with a sweet finish and firm, plump texture.
Size: approximately a 2 - 2.75 inch shell.

I love these oysters. I can eat them raw anytime. And my family loves them too. I will definitely order them again. The only thing is, shipping is so expensive. I wish they can lower it down.
I order the Shigoku for my honey because he loves these oysters, but I don't like them at all(raw, that is). I reserved a dozen to make the Cognac and Gruyere recipe from this site and I have to say, I LOVED those broiled oysters. You have a new fan!!!!!!
