Shigoku oysters are innovative Pacific oysters grown in float bags that rise and fall with the tides, gently tumbling the oysters. This process mimics a good workout for oysters, strengthening their adductor muscles and resulting in firm, plump meat and a deep, clean cup.
Shigoku means "ultimate” in Japanese, and we think these unique oysters fit the bill.

I bought the Shiguko and 2 other kinds for my daughter & and son-in-law for their 15th anniversary. We live in the south but they felt there was no comparison to these. Unfortunately their 12 year old felt the same and left them the other ones and ate most of the Shiguko.
