1 of the best oyster! The only reason I deducted 1 star it bc there were a few oysters had mudd only in it. Didn’t end up have enough as planned. Freshness and taste are 5 stars for me

Grown from rare, mid-century heirloom seeds dating back to the original Japanese imports of the 1940s. Slow-grown and a labor of love these Japanese natives grow significantly slower than most oysters (approximately 3-5 years!), but some things in life are worth the wait, and Kumos are one of them!
Petite but deeply satisfying, these oysters measure approximately 1-2 inches and offer a consistently delicious oyster on the half shell.
