Our Sumo Kumo Oysters are the larger, more refined sibling of the Kumamoto Oyster, they are twice the size and twice as wise. Aged to perfection after 4-6 years, these premium oysters offer a rich, complex flavor, making them ideal for raw enjoyment.
Grown from the same mid-century heirloom Kumo seeds in Chapman’s Cove, WA. These bivalves boast Incredible flavor – think salted honey melon, brimming with sweet liquor and sweet lime notes balanced by a light brine.

My sumo kumos arrived frozen solid. Taylors thinks it's because I also ordered dungenes crab cakes and they included dry ice in the packaging. Taylors is standing behind their product and giving me a credit, but the evening was ruined. I still love Taylors!
Excellent oysters
I grew up in France so my benchmark is oysters I got to eat in Cancale, Britanny, just out of the water. Those are the closest thing to the French oysters I'm used to. Clean, fresh, briny and a bit sweet, not too small. Lovef them!
