Frozen top-off oysters
Best ever! Shipped to Phoenix is great shape. Now , can pull a few from the freezer whenever. Very convenient way to have great Oysters in Arizona - anytime. Will order again soon.
Packaging and Shipping Issues
I was skeptical about frozen oysters but saw many positive reviews and have had great luck with Taylor SF. I pictured theses coming on trays of some kind, but they were just loose in bags. I opened them within a couple hours of delivery, and they were half defrosted already. Most were soft to the touch, and I knew they would have to be used immediately which I had not planned on. I let one sit for about 20 minutes and tried it. It had very little flavor, no brininess and a bad aftertaste. Customer service was excellent, and I got a full refund, but I cannot recommend based on this experience.
