Description
Our #1 oyster, renowned for its sweet-and-salty cucumber flavor, the Pacific Griller Oyster is a family favorite. Known for their gorgeous ruffled shells, these oysters come in shades of green, brown, black, white, purple, and pink. The meats are robust, perfect for grilling or serving on the half shell.
We farm our Pacifics in various bays all around the Puget Sound, each contributing a unique flavor profile.
Quantity: 30 count live oysters
Flavor Profile: Briny with a pleasant vegetal flavors imparted by algae and a sweet finish.
Size: approximately a 3-4 inch shell (perfect for cooking)

pacific sm oysters
About two thirds of them were fantastic, just the right combination of brine and sweet. Much larger than I had anticipated. Unfortunately the other third was heavily spawning. This is surprising since I was at a recent tour of the Taylor shellfish Farm and was told that they were able to keep them from spawning. I will order the pacific oysters again but not in the summer when they tend to spawn.
