Our Sumo Kumo Oysters are the larger, more refined sibling of the Kumamoto Oyster, they are twice the size and twice as wise. Aged to perfection after 4-6 years, these premium oysters offer a rich, complex flavor, making them ideal for raw enjoyment.
Grown from the same mid-century heirloom Kumo seeds in Chapman’s Cove, WA. These bivalves boast Incredible flavor – think salted honey melon, brimming with sweet liquor and sweet lime notes balanced by a light brine.

Even the Walrus knew that the largest were the tastiest! He sorted those out for himself first keeping them from the Carpenter. Don't bother to put lemon juice on these wonderful oysters, and stop think of them as fodder for grilling. These deserve to be swallowed unadorned, in all their beautiful fresh sea briny glory.
We popped these beautiful oysters right our of the shell and devoured them with mignonette sauce. They were heavenly and worth every penny!
