Fat Bastard Oysters are the largest size of our premium Tide-Tumbled Pacific oysters. Grown since 2009, these oysters are cultivated in our tumbling bags that are affixed to floats, gently rolling with the natural tide to create smooth, deep cups.
By floating near the water's surface, Fat Bastard Oysters feed on the freshest algae, resulting in a bright, savory flavor with plenty of briny liquor.

Amazing taste! Briny and plump. Great to eat on the half shell, or to use in recipes. I grew up on the Eastern Shore of MD. These are the first "West Coast" oysters that even come close to the taste of the oysters from the Chesapeake Bay. I will totally buy them again!!!
I live in NY, Taylor is the only place I order my oysters from, always fresh, impeccably packed and always delicious. These are great tasting and plump. My only regret is I didn't order more as they went as fast as I could shuck them!
Fat Bastards have become one of my favorites. They arrived extremely well packed, and I could not resist opening one right from the package. Very easy to shuck, the oyster is briny at the start, but certainly not overpoweringly so. The finish is a sweet and flavorful mouthful. All in all, a wonderful oyster and satisfyingly beautiful lying in the half shell.
