They were fat and juicy and very few dead ones
Prized for their stunning purple-black shells and rich, buttery meat. These mussels offer a savory, mushroom-like sea flavor that enhances any dish. Whether you're crafting a classic French, Italian, Asian, or West Coast seafood recipe, our mussels are the perfect choice to add depth to your flavor.
Sustainably grown on our Totten Inlet farm, these mussels are cultivated in deep water on floating rafts. This method ensures they are always grit-free and boast glossy, pristine shells, making them as beautiful as they are delicious.

They were fat and juicy and very few dead ones
Best darn mussels! Since moving to Spokane, we have truly missed the accessibility to Taylor’s. The shipping is prompt (thank goodness) and the mussels were perfect! There were only a few shells that didn’t open during cooking. Not bad for a 5lb bag! Keep up the amazing Customer Service!!! We will be ordering again soon!
I first tasted these mussels at a small restaurant in Woodland Hills about 15 years ago. I looked for them in many restaurants, but few served them. So, I waited a few years and ordered them directly from the company. They are not inexpensive, but they are worth the price, because they are plump, in good condition (very few cracked, small or dead) and so fresh and delicious! I wait until the day I’m serving them to de-beard them. They always come out great when I follow the directions and don’t overcook them! If I order too many, they are great in a pasta dish within a few days. Unfortunately, we hardly have any leftovers!
