The stunning purple-black shells of our Mediterranean mussels hide nuggets of buttery meat with a rich, mushroomy sea flavor. Mussels intensify any sauce and are equally at home in French, Italian, Asian, or West Coast cuisine.

We grow ours hanging from floating rafts in deep-water on our Totten Inlet farm, so they are always grit-free and glossy-shelled.

Our mussels are Food Alliance Certified, making them a sustainable seafood choice.

    - Sold in sacks of 5 pounds each

    - 20 mussels per pound on average

The best mussels time and again!

I first tasted these mussels at a small restaurant in Woodland Hills about 15 years ago. I looked for them in many restaurants, but few served them. So, I waited a few years and ordered them directly from the company. They are not inexpensive, but they are worth the price, because they are plump, in good condition (very few cracked, small or dead) and so fresh and delicious! I wait until the day I’m serving them to de-beard them. They always come out great when I follow the directions and don’t overcook them! If I order too many, they are great in a pasta dish within a few days. Unfortunately, we hardly have any leftovers!

    Delightful

I'm sure these would stand alone as an equally delicious treat, but they joined some seafood brothers and sisters in the perfect cioppino. Plump, tasty, delivered on time as promised, and easily de-bearded prior to cooking.

    Delicious Musels

These are wonderful -- plump, meaty and delicious. Although I have had mussels many times before, these are the best and your prep/cooking suggestions are very helpful.

    Mussels

Best mussels ever bought and taste delicious cooked Asian style with ginger wine! Would have given 5 stars if the 2nd bag has less cracked pieces. Quiet disappointment.

    mussels

Bought some PEI mussels the week before from a different company. These were much better (bigger, tastier, more alive).

    Mussels

Everything that Taylor seafoods offered or did was over the top as always. Only thing that went wrong is FedEx decided to put my delivery late in their day on an extremely hot day. They definitely were close to having a disaster. I put them in the freezer for 10 minutes and they revived, we ate them, and I am still here to review them. Best and fattest mussels I have ever ate! Thank you.
