We live in a small mountain town in southwest Colorado that could accurately be described as a food and restaurant desert. Needless to say, you can’t get clams here. We found out about Taylor Shellfish through Lynch Creek Farms and decided to give them a try. We ordered 15 pounds of clams for a Holiday splurge. They were delivered on time and after steaming them, they may have been the best clams we have ever had. We could not be happier with the purchase.
Fixed them Christmas afternoon and they were great! We had four people eating the 5 lbs. and it was more then enough! Delicious. They were in the fridge for 5 days and were just perfect! Thank you!
The Manila clams arrived very well pack and they were all fresh they arrived on a Thursday , with half of clams I made a Portuguese dish that day and with the other half I sautéed them for an appetizer on Saturday. That’s how fresh they were!!!
