Known for their firm, full meats and unique synthesis of brine and sweetness, our Totten Inlet Virginicas are regarded as some of the finest oysters around. Virginicas were originally found only on the reefs of the Atlantic Coast, at depths of 8-25 feet, before being introduced to the Pacific Coast in the 1890s. Notoriously finicky in our waters, they only thrive on the beaches of Totten Inlet where the algae-rich waters from neighboring Little Skookum inlet mix with the deeper waters of Puget Sound allowing these oysters to develop their distinct and sought-after flavor profile.

Loved them, great packaging
I knew they would not be petite and maybe grilled. I like oysters raw. I shucked one and slurped it down. Great texture, beautiful taste, abundant salty brine, and just the right size. I was able with help from others enjoy them for a few days. Not one got close to grilling, resulted in almost a meal rather than an appetizer For all the oysters I have consumed in my life this hits the tops and most of all it needs no SAUCE They arrived like they were just packed a few hours before and just with no second thought, ORDER THEM you won’t be sorry!!
