At first it seemed daunting to clean the mussels..there was lots of brine but oh am I glad I did. I never had bigger, more succulent mussels in my life. I steamed them in some wine, lemongrass, coconut milk and butter and they were absolute heaven. I will be buying them again soon.
These were incredibly fresh and were the plumpest mussels I've ever seen. All big sized and the meat was so tender and buttery. These blew the socks off all other mussels I've had. They ruined me because I'll never be able to have another mussel without comparing it to these as the gold standard. I would totally buy these again at any cost
