This order was delayed by 24 hours by Fed Ex . Only about 50 percent of mussels were safe to use upon arrival at my home. Taylor Shellfish Consumer service contacted and Taylor Shellfish had good service recovery. Therefore will order again and remain a satisfied customer.
The majority were intact and were really tasty. We had a dozen that arrived with cracked or shattered shells. Packaging looked fine.
They had great flavor and were substantial, didn't like the long beards on them, not attractive to guests or myself. I was actually sick the next day after eating them. Stomach issues that as a result I was stuck at home. Disappointed.
