    Geoduck

Received geoduck and oysters as ordered. I was a little disappointed that the one side of the geouduck shell was smashed. The smashed shell did not fortunately alter the taste when prepared.

    Geoduck

Sent a geoduck for Fathers Day. More as a joke than anything else as my dad had previously said he would never eat one although he has enjoyed razor clams. It arrived as promised , still alive. They prepared as sashimi for my mum and as com chowder for dad. It was a big hit ! Thank you Taylor Shell Fish.

    Clamapalooza

We ordered a Geoduck Clam, Manila Clams, Pacific Mussels, and medium sized shucked oysters. First, the 'medium' oysters were the size of saucer plate. They were so big you have to cut them in pieces. The mussels were amazing, but you have to clean the seaweed and other debris out, that's how fresh they are. The Manila Clams surpassed our expectations and are sweet as advertised. In fact all of it was. But the Geoduck, OMG!, just awesome. We did the siphon as sashimi, and the remainder as fritters. The amazing part is I requested Friday delivery. That meant on Thursday our order was still in the water. And when it arrived it was all alive. We simply placed them in colanders as suggested, covered them with wet paper-towels, and feasted on Saturday. Thanks Taylor Shellfish, you have customers for life. By the way, we live on the Delaware River about 90 minutes from Baltimore and the Chesapeake Bay. With the exception of Blue Crabs and soft shell crabs, your products are superior in taste and quality to the mid-Atlantic regions shell fish.

You can’t go wrong with geoduck. I ordered 5 geoduck. 1 geoduck shell was crushed and the geoduck wasn’t alive. Of course the dead one are not as fresh, 3 was at the proper to the size and 1 were really small. Other than that it is good. Kinda sucks since you pay 70 for one.

Outstanding product! I had it flown to Pennsylvania where it was received like the crown of King Midas! It was prepared and served in such a way that had people immediately asking where it had got it from. Ordering it online was a little confusing as the unit of issue is measured in pounds not by piece. Other than that I have ZERO complaints!
