Clam order

I placed an order for clams for Christmas Eve to be delivered on December 23. It is now Christmas night and we’re still waiting for our order to arrive. This isn’t the first time this has happened to us. They have a great product when you get it.

These were the worst!

I ordered these just this past week, (early Dec,) and they were delivered a few days ago. I have also ordered these same 5 Lb. bags several times in the past, and they were meaty and delicious. But this recent order really sucked. First, they were all half the size of of the Manila clams I've previously ordered. Second, about a dozen of them in the bag had severely broken shells, and looked like they backed a truck over them...Yeah, that badly broken! They should have been caught when they were bagged. Blatantly obvious damaged shells. No excuses! Of course, they were tossed out. Third, and the worst part, they were all tough as chewing on a piece of leather strap! It might be a long time until I reorder any more of them. Call me snakebit! I threw away the bulk of them, (a total waste of money,) which I really hated to do because I love clams. In two words, THESE SUCKED!
