    The Abalone maintain their naturally, buttery and salty taste due to the positive elements of the natural ocean environment at Big Island Abalone. They exclusively grow Ezo Abalone, a type of Abalone that is originally from Hokkaido, Japan but now is sustainably farmed in Kona. It is similar to the taste of Black Abalone.

    The delicious flavor falls between a clam and a scallop but with a little more al dente. The quality of Kona Abalone is highly praised by many chefs and served at many top-end restaurants from Tokyo to New York, where they prepare it as sashimi, sushi, tartare, carpaccio, or cooked with butter & mushrooms.
