Each bag of Olympia Oysters seed contains approximately 300-400 seed, ranging in size from 9mm - 12mm. The Olympia is the only native oyster to the Puget Sound. The seed grows extremely slow, taking about 3-5 years before becoming a mature oysters, roughly the size of a half-dollar coin. They are best grown deeper in the intertidal due to its sensitivity to heat.
