Lemon Pepper Smoked Oysters
This was my second purchase (first review). The first time (last year), I got a sampler pack, which helped me figure out that the Lemon Pepper Oysters were my favorite. This time -- prompted by a 20%-off sale -- I bought four cans of those plump, salty, smoky delights. They are SO damn good. I've tried many from the supermarket shelves; yeah, they are way cheaper, but also puny, dripping in oil, have an artificial smoke taste and lacking in oyster flavor. These are 10 times better and worth the price. They are huge, flavorful, have just a very small amount of oil and are absolutely delicious -- whether on a cracker, a charcuterie board or right out of the can. And, with a LONG shelf life, I will always have cans in my pantry, replacing as I get to the last one. If you love smoked oysters, splurge on these. They are worth it.
