    Smoked Mussels

    These were just Ok. I’m not a fan of the flavor in these. I was going to give this tin as a gift and I’m so glad I didn’t. Very fresh. No issue with that. Presented nicely. There aren’t very many in the tin either which was strange for the price. Couple that with the just ok flavor I’m probably skipping these next time which is a total bummer because I’m a huge smoke mussel fan normally.

    Oysters

    After suffering for years with the rubbery, sub par smoked oysters at the store, I treated myself. It was not easy. I am a disabled senior. Every penny counts. Well darn it if these aren't the absolute best oysters I have ever eaten, truly special.

    Smoked Mussels

    These are among the few shellfish brands that are NOT farmed and packed in China, and they are worth every penny. Very simply the best I’ve ever had!

    Ah, not so good. Had a grainy, granular, chalky texture and not much flavor.

    The smoked mussels were extremely salty and very grainy in texture and falling apart, as if they were over-processed. I threw most of it away. Extremely disappointed with the product, especially considering the price.
