This was the first time I’d purchased the live geoduck. Before, I’d always gotten the prepared and cleaned version. It was easy to clean and slice with a sharp knife. The taste was like a clean crispy ocean. My only disappointment was that it was on the smaller side, compared to some I’ve seen.
Package arrived 2 days late. Sat in a FedEx warehouse for 2 days. Was really looking forward to trying Geoduck but was unable to do so. Contents were warm when arrived and smelled horrendous.......
Absolutely fantastic. Very easy to prep. I had it raw with soy sauce. I wanted to try one before I decided to serve some to guests over the holidays. Definitely a home run. Actually had more meat on it than I expected.
