SunSeekers are the signature premium oysters from our Canadian farms at Fanny Bay Oysters in British Columbia. These oysters were developed in a innovative floating bag system that utilizes the deep cold waters of the Desolation Sound. The floating bags allow us to farm in the bountiful top layer of the ocean by boat, without depending on the intertidal swings to expose beaches. The floating bags rock the oysters gently in the passing waves to shape their shell into a smooth deep cup full of sweet and briny meat.

Quantities are limited, so order early! You won't want to miss these gems!

    Quantity: 30 count
Flavor Profile: Sweet and lightly briny. Meat is firm and plump, almost overflowing the cup
    Size: 2-4 inch shell

    Fanny Bay Sunseeker Oysters

Ordered the Fanny Bays to try their unique growing style. The Taylor Shelfish experiences are always great for me. Just when I think I have experienced the best in oysters the next is better. These were fresh and very healthy, great to shuck, and tasty with lots of liquid. Firm and just the right size! Thank you!

    Fanny Bay Oysters

Best oysters I’ve had in a long time, and my friend from BC agreed best he has ever had. So good he went ahead and ordered more. Clean fresh taste, nice sweet meat, easy to eat a lot of them.

    Fanny Bay Sunseeker oysters

Just the right size to eat out of the shell. They were very fresh, full of great tasting liquor, and as we started shucking and eating no sauces were required. Honestly the best oysters I have ever eaten. I am not young and have visited many oyster beaches in my boating life. Thank you!

    Oyster

Fanny Bay Sunseekers are probably one the best when eaten raw.

    Fanny Bay Sunseeker

Oh my. These were wonderful. Meaty and sweet like the other reviews said. A new favorite. Loved the eco-friendly dissolvable foam insulation.

    Sunseeker oysters

Excellent and our favorite of the oysters we received (Shigaku, Olympias and Kumamotos -all were great, but we liked the Sunseekers the best). Very "mellow" flavor and easy to shuck. We first had them at the Occidental St bar, where we were offered a sample after we each had a dozen of Taylor's daily mix. Something about saving the best for last.
